Sheep
We raise California Red sheep, which were chosen for their dual
purpose of wool and meat. They are also naturally hornless. This breed that was develop
in the 1970’s from crossing Tunis with Barbados Blackbelly sheep. They have oatmeal colored wool, usually
with some red hair, and their meat is considered one of the mildest flavored of the different sheep
breeds. We have found them to be great mothers and produce a good amount of milk.
We have a limited number of lambs available each year, please
email us for current availability.
